Red White and Blue

Last week I put up a few of my 4th of July decorations. I really love decorating for this holiday but went small this year.

I think I got this wooden soldier at TJMaxx several years ago. I put some gumballs in the candy jar.
I try to buy a new 4th of July decoration each year and this towel is what I got this year. It is from Pier 1. Cupcakes and 4th of July, two of my favorite things! :)

I bought this last year to put on my front door but decided to put it behind the sink. I'll show what is on my door soon.

I saw this picture on my camera that Cody took and thought it was a nice red, white and blue picture too. ;)

3 Month Pictures

Here are some of my favorite shots from Westin's 3 month pictures. Rachel Blackwell took them and did a fantastic job! We took them at Katie's house and Zach even hopped in one at the end.

His hair cracks me up in this one:

Sweet cousins.

Gran and G-Dad's

Westin and I came to Little Rock to spend some time with Gran and G-Daddy (my parents). We are having a great time! I'm getting to lay by the pool, eat homemade meals and just relax while Westin gets some major attention.

This picture was taken right before he rolled over for the first time!

We took him to the pool and let him play around in the baby pool. He loves his bath but I didn't know if he would love the pool since it is much cooler but he loved it.

He still has a hard time opening his eyes outside when it is bright. Haha

My Mom put him in front of Yo Gabba Gabba as a joke to see what I would do. Haha He actually loved it! He has never been so still!

These are my Mom's hydrangeas. They are taller than me and wrap around the corner of her house. The blooms are huge! We are having fun but we are looking forward to seeing Daddy on Friday.

Hydrangeas and Sneak Peek

We planted three hydrangea bushes three years ago and this year they finally bloomed! The leaves were always so healthy and it grew every year but never bloomed. Needless to say, I am so excited it is blooming this year! I am cutting off the blooms just as fast as I can to bring inside and enjoy.

The interesting thing is that I am 99.9% sure I bought the endless summer hydrangeas but these are different. I actually love this bloom too but I'm curious as to what kind it is. Any experts out there?
Here is a sneak peek at the guest bathroom. My Dad installed bead board this past weekend and Cody and I have been taking turns painting it. More to come.....

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!

Winner and Westin

The winner of the Just Simply Southern frame is:

Congratulations Robin and thank you Kristi for offering such a fun giveaway!!

Here are some recent pictures of Westin. I cannot believe how fast he is growing! It makes me sad that it is going so fast but it is such a fun age that I am loving every minute of it.

He turned 3 months old!

He has his bib on to try a bottle with Gran. Still not happening.

Talented!

This boy LOVES being outside!
This is from my iphone but we were laughing at my Dad and Westin's different skin tones! Haha
We went to the lake recently and Westin spent most of his time doing this:

He also had his 3 month pictures professionally taken by Rachel so I will post those soon! That is if I can narrow them down. Haha She does such a good job! You can go HERE for a sneak peek.

Just Simply Southern Giveaway

Are you ready for another giveaway?!? Kristi at Just Simply Southern has offered to give away one of her CUTE button frames! These are absolutely adorable. She can customize them to match any color scheme. The winner will get to pick what colors they want.
I love the distressed wood and fabric ribbon but my favorite part is that there is not any glass to worry with. With the magnetic button you can change your picture out as often as you want. With Westin changing and growing literally every day, I love this feature!

I told her I liked reds, yellows, greens and browns and this is what she sent me:

A perfect match to my living room! All you have to do to win one is check out her site HERE and come back and leave a comment on this post. Random.org will pick a winner sometime Friday. Good luck and thanks so much Kristi!!

Some Re-Arranging

One of my favorite things to do around the house is re-arrange with things I already have. Since Westin was born I haven't had much time to do this but found some time last week. What normally would have taken about 30 minutes took 3 days but that is just how things go around here now. :)

I love this fern. I've had one in my kitchen for over a year and it is actually still alive! :)

I found these cute tea cups at Pier 1. They are actually measuring cups and just so fun to use. :)

The best part is I only spent money on the fern. I just used what I already had in new ways.

Be on the lookout for another giveaway coming up this week! :) I also have a guest bathroom sneak peek coming too.

Giveaway Time

One of my favorite etsy sites is Say Your Piece Custom Ceramics. Eileen makes the cutest pottery dishes. She has graciously offered to give one away to one lucky reader!

The winner will be ably to pick if they want 1, 2, 3 or 4 birds on their dish and what they would like it to say. It could be your first name, last name, a favorite word or a friends name.
They are the cutest size at approximately 4" square. Perfect for holding rings or just sitting on a little easel to be displayed. Love these!! There are sooo many great gift ideas in her shop too!

Go visit her site HERE and let me know which one is your favorite. Leave one comment on this post. Be sure to leave an email address if you do not have a blog! Random.org will pick a winner Friday evening. Good luck and thanks again Eileen!!
