Blessing Ring

Katie introduced me to Blessing Rings when I was getting married almost six years ago. She bought me one to keep all my cards and special notes that were given to me during my engagement. Instead of buying one when Zach was born she made one. So I made one for Westin.

I will keep all of his cards that he receives his first year of life. He has already received two Easter cards from his grandparents that are on the Blessing Ring.

Here is Katie's Blessing Ring that she has made for Reese:

This is Adeline's Blessing Ring that Lindsey made:

These are so easy to make! The rings are actually necklaces from the jewelry department at Hob Lob. Tie some ribbon on it and you are finished! When you receive a special card or note punch a hole in it and put it on the ring. These make such great visual reminders of how much you (or your child) are loved. They also make great gifts. :)

What an awesome idea! I keep almost every card we get. This is a great way to keep them all together. I was recently looking through old ones and found a card form my 6th bday from my Great Gma. It was so nice to see her handwriting! Westin is a doll by the way!

What an amazing idea! I always wonder what in the world to do with my cards I don't want to toss. I definitely plan on doing this with our wedding cards that are boxed away. And I will definitely use it in the future with kiddos. Thanks so much for sharing!

Cute idea! John and I have been married for 11 yrs. and I had kept all the engagement cards and wedding cards. I got rid of them when we moved into this house 2 yrs ago. I wish I would have kept them.
