Fam Night Celebrations

Every Tuesday night we get together with my brother Andrew, my brother and SIL, Jason and Katie and Joseph and Elizabeth who are just like family. We rotate houses each week and eat dinner and usually watch American Idol or Survivor. Sometimes we just talk so much we don't watch TV. This past Tuesday we celebrated Elizabeth and Joseph's birthdays.

I just love any excuse to bring out the birthday decorations!

I love my little cake man by Larkspur Lane.

They both turned 25!

Singing Happy Birthday.

Joseph loved his Oreos and milk from Elizabeth. His "real" present was a trip to NYC!

Elizabeth with her gifts.

Zach loves to "fall down" and then make sure everyone saw him! :)

It got kind of quiet so I peaked in the nursery and saw that Zach had found Westin's books and toys. :)

Zach, Cody, Katie and Andrew watching American Idol. I look forward to Family Night every week. I'm so glad we all live in the same town so we can get together!

How wonderful for you to have family close by. These are memories that both your families will cherish always. I just found your blog a few weeks ago and I am really enjoying our visits.

I love your birthday door hanger! You're very lucky that all of your family lives so close! I'm sure that will be an even bigger blessing when Westin arrives.

I love your birthday door hangar and all your birthday decorations! what a nice thing to do each week! Do you make a fancy dinner or just order out?

I love the "falling down" bit...Amelia used to do that all the time, too...total hams! When I saw the Oreos...I don't know if that means he especially loves Oreos or not...but there is the CUTEST cake pan set and cake mix at Williams Sonoma that look just like giant oreos...so cute!

I can't even begin to tell you how absolutely jealous I am that you're able to do this with your family. I can't even get my fam to visit me once a month for dinner!!! Consider yourself very lucky!
