Westin's Nursery So Far

Happy New Year! We just got home after being away for 16 days! We had so much fun with our families but we are very happy to be home. I finally got the last bit of Christmas put away yesterday. I feel like I can breathe again. :)

Here I am at 29 weeks in front of Westin's new stocking. I love that it coordinates with ours. It is from Ballard Designs.

I did a lot of antique shopping while I was away and found this table when I was out with Cody's Mom. I love how the middle shelf is made to hold books. Cody and my Dad painted it this cream color because it was turquoise blue. :) I can't believe I didn't take a before picture. The cream was just some left over paint that was in my parent's garage.

My Mom and I also ordered this glider to go in the nursery. It is from Best Chairs and we got it in a coordinating brown to match his bedding. It will go beside the little table.

My Grandmother got Westin his own silver baby cup and we had his initials engraved on it.

I got these baskets for Christmas so I did a little organizing when we got home. I know I'll probably change things around after my showers and also after West is here and we live with everything for awhile. Right now they are holding bibs, socks, hats and onesies. It has been so fun getting his room in order! I still have to make (have made) the drapes but hope to get to that this week. I also hope to get better at blogging! Maybe I'll start posting twice a week instead of once a week. :)

Love how the nursery parts are coming together. Not too much longer now and little one will be here! You will love being a Mom--it's the greatest blessing God can give (in my opinion!) You look great, too!

Looks cute! It takes a while to get things situated and then you change as they change. Our upper shelves are empty because Aaron climbs so we didn't want temptation.

You are the cutest pregnant Mama! Westin's nursery is adorable, but of course I knew it would be with you designing it!

Everything looks great!!! I think the way you have it organized sounds like a good plan. Making things easy to get to is a really, really good idea with a newborn! Can't wait for more posts! =)

His nursery looks so GREAT! You have awesome taste...I need some of that! I am ready to get this baby boy OUT! LOL! I am sure you are starting to feel the bulge too. Anyways-you look great and so glad you had a Merry Christmas and wish you all the best in the coming new year!

You are going to LOVE your Best glider/chair. We have used ours every single day (except when out of town) for almost 5 years (between the 2 boys). It is the best purchase we've EVER made. Our first-born did not nap well on his own and I cannot even begin to tell you how many hundreds of hours we've spent in that chair...many of them sleeping ourselves!

Shannon, it may feel like an eternity before that baby arrives, but soak in every single moment of these last weeks of pregnancy. Even if you despise being pregnant...it just goes soooo quickly! You look FABULOUS!!!!!

Hi,

Just came across your blog and loved looking at your nursery ideas. Everything is so cute! I am also expecting a little boy - it looks like I am about 2 weeks behind you. I was just curious where you found those dark storage baskets? I have been looking EVERYWHERE and I can't find anything like that for my son's room?

You look adorable! The nursery is so pretty. I have a very similar glider from Best Chairs in GK's room. I love it.

New to your blog! Love the baby's stocking! Is this your first? Will you do a bellymask? I have an old post on bellymasks if it interests you at all. I've made one for each of my kiddos. Gonna look around! Many blessings!

PS... I *stalk* Beth Moore too!
