Totally Random

I still have more Christmas decorations to show you but I just wanted to post about some random things first.
This is me at 24 weeks. I'll be 26 weeks on Sunday but we haven't taken a more recent picture. I look at this picture and honestly think that I am huge and cannot imagine getting any bigger. I know I will though! It is just hard to wrap my mind around. It is already hard to put my socks on.
I love this old slate! I saw it at an antique store in Hot Springs, AR this past summer. I thought it would be so cute to hang in the nursery. However, the shop owner wouldn't take my offer of $10. He wanted $15. So we left it there but I always remembered it and talked about it. My Mom surprised me with it the other day! She said she went back in several months later and it was still in the same spot I had put it in and offered them $6. They took it! :)

My fabric came in! We had to break down and buy the plaid from Bassett Furniture but thanks to my Grandmother and my Mom's friend, Sue Carol, they bought it for us! What a blessing and surprise. If you want this plaid, just buy it from Bassett. Trust me, it is nowhere to be found! I have taken the fabric to the lady who is making the bedding and we should get it back today. I'll for sure be posting a picture of it. :)

Sorry this pic is blurry, it is from my phone. Back in October, my Mom and I went to the local craft fairs and we saw Michelle Duggar at the Dayspring booth. I think I shocked my Mom when I asked Michelle if I could have my picture with her. :) Me and my friends just love their show! We are both due in March. However, this is my first and although she looks young enough for this to be her first, it is her 19th. :)

And way back in July, Katie and I drove by The Duggar's house. :) I told you we like their show! This was actually the day we were trying to kill time because I had taken a blood test that morning and we were waiting on the call back to see if I was pregnant or not. I will never forget that day and I was so glad Katie was with me! I'll post more Christmas pictures next week! Have a great weekend!

Alex and I love The Duggars show too! Did you hear that she has been taken to St. Vincent's...she was preeclampsic and has kidney stones. They were talking about surgery, so they wanted her close to Children's just incase. So far, they have been able to hold off on the surgery. We need to pray for her and the baby...that they won't have to deliver anytime soon.

You are SO NOT huge. You are so cute pregnant. When you are feeling huge, go back and look at pics of me and you'll feel better. HA!

Can't wait to see the bedding!

You look absolutely adorable! Michelle is so super cute and I love that show too! I have been praying for the Duggars since the whole Gallstone thing happened but I read on another girls blog this morning that they had to take the baby yesterday and she weighed 1 pound! If this is accurate, they need our prayers now more than ever!

I read it on Lyndsie's blog over at A love worth waiting for http://danielandlyndsie.blogspot.com/

I just read on line that Michelle had her baby. I think she only weighed 1 pound 6 ounces so I hope she will be o.k. I heard earlier in the week that Michelle was suffering from gallstones. Just thought you'd want to be updated.
Love the bedding. You may get quite a bit bigger carrying a boy. I gained so much more weight with my son than I did with the girls!

And I think that it is no coincidence that you posted about Michelle the day after she gave birth to her little preemie. Michelle, Josie and their entire family certainly need as many prayers as possible right now.

Hey Shannon! I love ur blog and always enjoy all of your beautiful pictures...and I LOVE the Duggars :D That is so awesome that you got to meet Mrs. Duggar!!! If you don't mind me asking..is it expensive to have your baby bedding made? I was just wondering how much of a difference it would be in comparison to buying one. I have been trying to find one I like and have had no such luck and am now considering getting some bedding made. Thanks!!

Love the Duggars! Just wait - you will get so huge its amazing! Take lots of pics, bc amazingly enough it goes back (almost all, anyway).

I can't wait to see your bedding - the fabric is great! I guess it was a lot cheaper to still get the fabric from Bassett than order the bedding from them?

You have such an adorable prego belly! Yes honey, unfortunately it will get much larger and then you won't have to worry about your socks b/c you won't be able to see your feet the last two months anyway. LOL! I just had my second baby last week and I'm happy to be able to put on socks all by myself again! :) I'm excited to see the crib bedding when it's done. So awesome that you met Michelle Duggar. What a beautiful heart she has. Such an inspiration!

Okay, first of all Shannon, I stumbled onto your blog via another blog, that was siteing your laundry table. (cute, btw!) Then I saw your Bible verses and thought I would cruise through your pics cause we may have things in common. THEN, I saw you and Michelle Duggar!! I LOVE her! She has inspired me to change/do so much! How exciting you got to meet her! Oh, and I do have a suggestion for over the crib...Maybe a wall art verse, like you get from Uppercase Living. The kind that looks like it is written on the wall. Just a thought, and great to "meet" you. I have two boys, ages 3 and 2. Best wishes and God bless!
