Christmas Dining Room

What is wrong with this picture? Doesn't every one have a leather chair in their dining room?? ;) It was in the living room where the Christmas tree is now. With all the re-purposing of the rooms we have been doing there was no where else to put it. It doesn't stress me out too bad. ;)
I've always tied these dollar store candle rings on the back of the dining chairs. On the arm chairs I added a little stocking.
I used some of my new velvet ribbon that I got at Oops awhile back to tie the greenery to the candle sconces. Of course I had to tuck some feathers in it.
You might have to click on this picture to enlarge it but I got those Santa pictures at a thrift store last year for $6 each. I had to paint the frames but they are some of my favorite decorations. I actually saw these exact prints at the craft fairs this year for $20 each, unframed. I think I got a good deal. ;)

How sweet are those little stockings on the back of the chairs?! I LOVE those! Where did you find them? Yes, you got a good deal on your Santa framed prints... I love a good deal. I think that's why I get such a high from antiquing! I just LOVE finding valuable stuff for next to nothing! Maybe that's the feeling people get from shoplifting...NOT that I am going to turn to shoplifting!! HAHA!

Beautiful! I love the chairs & santa pictures. The leather chair looks fine & if anyone's too full they don't even have to roll to the living room to be comfy.;)

We did the same thing with a leather chair similar to yours. We are trying to make more seating available for our guest. I put it in the living room but I'm not too sure it goes with the other furniture. Anyway, love the red runner on your table! Where did you get the cute, little Christmas trees?

I had a good laugh when I read your post. I have almost the exact same leather chair in the same spot in my dining room... also misplaced from the corner of the family room to make room for the tree. I'm trying not to obsess over its location as well :)

There is nothing wrong with having too much seating especially in the dining room. When you get tired from serving all of your guests during the holidays you can just prop your feet up and be comfortable!

The holiday decor looks great! You always do such a fantastic job of pulling everything together!

You've given me a great idea for decorating the dining room chairs. I think my chairs are calling for some holly or something!

Oh, and I think the brown chair looks very nice right where it is!
