Hi Shannon,
This is random...I am trying to find the "favorite paint" post. I remember that you have a green bedroom or bathroom. I'm looking for a good green or "yellow/gold" for my kitchen. Also, when you painted your door, did you prime or sand?
Sorry to post on here, but my computer wouldn't let me email you for some reason. I'm computer challenged!

Congratulations to the winner! Giveaways really are fun, aren't they? I actually won one last week--the first thing I've ever won! My package arrived on Friday and it just made my day.

Hope you're feeling great! Take care of yourself.

Thanks Shannon,
I did not remember you having yellow/gold so THANKS for the tips! Today, I'm tackling my front door. Our church is hosting a Home Tour for Christmas and I'm on the much work to do! But loving it.

I forgot to get a "before" picture, but I painted the inside of our door black. I did the inside first because it is cold and rainy today! I started freaking out because I put on primer first (didn't get your post yet) and I discovered the door is really a faux wood and the primer wasn't applying to the door! Long story short, I stuck with it - made it work and after two coats of primer and two coats of paint, it looks great! I hate the trim now...isn't that how it always goes! You should have seem me freaking out though because my husband is gone on a trip and I was going to "surprise" him. HA! I kept say, "how much does a new door cost?". I can laugh now.
