Shopping Trip

I really have not been shopping much at all this summer but last week I decided to hit up Oops and The Gift House. Here are my finds:

A cute pink picture frame waiting until I get my pictures of Reese developed. I'm thinking the one with the pink flower in her hair will look so cute in here. I found this at Oops for $6.25.

This was my biggest splurge at The Gift House. I won't tell you how much it was just in case my husband gets a wild hair and decides to look at my blog. ;) In my defense I did have a gift certificate that paid for about 1/4 of it. :)

I love these little characters! I got this one at The Gift House too. I usually buy one or two every year for Halloween and Christmas.

Can you have too much ribbon? I found these at Oops. The Halloween ribbon (which my mom will not like) and the red striped ribbon were $2.00 for 10 yards and the red velvet was $5 for 10 yards. I couldn't pass up those deals!

I love this red coke crate. It was $8.95 and I have been looking for one for a long time. We are always taking dinners to couples in our small group that are having babies and I wanted something like this to carry it all in. The pans are usually hot so it makes transportation tricky. I think this will be the perfect solution.

It is kind of hard to tell but these have kind of a shiny metallic finish. They were $1.65 each at Oops.

These paper plates and napkins will probably be used for Family Night's and just for fun. The pumpkins were .40 cents each and the turkeys were .60 each per package.

I saw a lot of these trees in blogland around Christmas last year. A lot of you had them in apothecary jars or used in little displays. I thought they were so cute. This one was .65 cents.

Can you tell I am getting excited about fall?

You got some great deals! I have a crate like that that I purchased at PB for $15 and now I think they are more, so that was a great price! I don't tell prices to Jeremy too and sometimes if it ends in an .99, I round it down ;)

I am so ready for fall! My "Country Living" magazine came in the mail last week and that was all it took for me! I'm ready for the weather to change and football season to begin. I actually think I may start decorating for fall on Labor day... that's kind of when fall begins, right?

We don't have an Oops store so I guess I have no idea what I'm missing. Great idea with the red coke crate, I always carry stuff in a box. May be looking for me one now.

I love that little clown...I'm always drawn to those types of funky little things. I saw some last week that I almost got, but decided to wait in case I find others I like better. :b

I had a vintage coke crate on wheels that I used to have for plants, but I gave it to the Goodwill in a fit of rage (hubs was telling me to clear a bunch of crap out of the garage..I went nuts and just tossed a bunch of stuff that I wish I'd kept).

Even though it's still HOT here, since tomorrow is September, I think we can start our fall decorating. ;) For me, fall begins Sept. 1. ha!
