The past couple of years I have loved decorating for July 4th. I've been keeping my eye out at antique malls and flea markets but have not found much.
Every year I put flags in my front flower pots from Memorial Day until Labor Day.
This little soldier has been one of my favorite finds from TJMaxx.
I changed out my little green plate with a red one and added red, white and blue gumballs to my candy jar.
Cody hates that I hang something from every little knob but I love doing it! :)
I changed out the message on my little chalkboard to reflect the season.
My mom bought me this cute candle holder last year.
She also got me this cute pillow. It says, "Stars And Stripes Forever".
I had to use my flash on this one but this is where I change out fun seasonal signs. This one says, "America Land of the Free". This was a two dollar find at Oops several years back. I have loved seeing every one's Patriotic decorations and look forward to seeing more. It is quickly becoming one of my favorite holidays.

Good for you. I am so glad to see you declare that you love our country. It seems like patriotism has gone out of style with lots of "beautiful people"--and yet they've gotten to be "beautiful people" partly because of all the privileges they enjoy as Americans. I just don't get it.
Anyway, I appreciate your showing your colors and doing it in a way that looks good and is inspiring.
Lovely decorations! I wish I could decorate with nostalgic patriotism, but there's no such thing as vintage Canadiana, since we got our flag in the 60s ;-) I love the star you have hanging on that knob. I think my knobs need some hanging things.
