Floral Frogs

Last week I got to play around with the floral frogs that I got at a flea market. I tried them in several different places and this is what I ended up with.

I have one under a cloche holding an egg.

I put the other two in the office. One is holding a fun download from The Vintage Moth
and the cute small one is holding the stamps off a package from Vashti.

Oooh! I love what you've done with those! I've been looking for some older floral frogs but I haven't had any luck!

I like how you used them as a picture holder.

Really cute - - - but will you ever use them for something wacky and crazy like holding FLOWER STEMS?????

I love what you've done but those look nothing like my floral frogs. Mine-and all the ones I've seen- are heavy glass discs that rest in a vase to support the flowers in your choice of arrangement. I have several that are about 6" in diameter and 1" thick. Some are about 3" in diameter and 3" thick. Some are crystal clear and some are colored, as green or gold. I think they were made to fit specific vases. I have them packed away right now but I will get them out so I can show you a picture.

Hi Shannon,
My daughter told me about your blog and how you share a hymn on Sundays. I love it that you have the story of how the hymn was written. I am on staff at our church, and play organ/piano. We do contemporary worship songs, and a couple of hymns each Sunday. I know it is so important to know the history of how our great hymns were written.
Keep up the great work of sharing the history of our hymns. We need to be singing them each Sunday, so the young children will know their "heritage of hymns." So many older folk miss the singing of the hymns.
God bless you!

I love looking at your blog occasionally and when I saw the idea with the silver tray and the chalboard paint I thought it was so cute. I want to have my kids in my class make them for mother's day presents. Would you mind emailing me so I can ask you several questions about it? I don't have outlook so I could not pull up your email. My name is Nikki Weiss weissnikki@gmail.com Thank you!

I love what you did with your "floral frogs". :) I have seen these before, but didn't know what they were called. I have to admit, I also pictured something different when I first started reading...I will have to be on the lookout for these! :) Have a great night!

Hi! I saw you on the prayer list (from Kellys Korner) & just wanted to stop by & say I'm praying for you :) We are struggling also & are seeing a fertility specialist now. I have been off BC for two & half years & have been diagnosed with PCOS. I take 1000 mg of Metformin daily & the doctor said I can't take the Clomid anymore b/c I've taken it to many times. I'm hoping this new doctor will do wonders for us. I have faith that maybe this will be our year & hopefully yours too! God Bless!
