Christmas Re-cap

It is hard getting back into the swing of things after such a fun break! We had a wonderful Christmas and got back into town on Saturday night. Sunday was spent putting away all of the Christmas decorations. It was so nice to get everything back in order before I had to go back to work. I've been stopping by all of your blogs I just haven't been leaving any comments. I had a lot to catch up on! Here are a few pictures from our Christmas with my parents.

My Mom's tree

I love this metal sign and vintage Santa.

All of our stockings and a picture my Aunt drew of us in Hawaii.

My brother, Andrew's dog, Chaco. I was about to take a picture and he came and sat down right in front of me.

Zach on his tractor. Christmas was so fun this year watching him play with his toys.

The kids with their stockings. Zach was not too happy since he had to get off his tractor for the picture.

In his cute leather chair.

Zach was trying to steal all of my candy from my stocking.

Zach loves Chaco.
I was beyond excited when I opened my gift from my parents! All of my hinting around paid off! I never actually thought I would actually be getting this though. They surprised me with a new camera!!

I am having a lot of fun figuring it out. I have almost the whole manual read. All the above pictures were taken before I got my new camera so once I figure out how to upload my other pictures I will post some of those.
I might be scarce around blogland for a while because I am in the middle of this book:

I can already tell I will be wanting to read the next one but I will try to have some posts in between. I am not promising anything though! These books are good! I hope to finish the first one by this weekend so I can go see the movie before it is gone from the theaters.
I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas this year! By your posts it looks like you did. Mine was amazing and hopefully I will be back with some more pictures (mostly of Zach!).

Looks like you had a wonderful Christmas with family! The camera is AWESOME!

My little brother (Andrew Weaver) graduated from AB in '99....he only went there for two years but he played ball for them, so I was at all of his games. I guess I just recognized her face from all of the b-ball games. I have a good memory of faces and it was driving me nuts, trying to place her. (LOL)

Looking forward to more pics of Zach!

Oh, I'm so glad that you had a wonderful Christmas. I had been following your blog, but hadn't left any recent comments as my mother passed away on Dec, 26th from her year long battle with brain cancer. We continue to have hope in the future, and I wish you and your family a blessed year in 2009.

Christmas is always more fun when you get to watch children with their gifts. They are all happy and in wonder. I look to watch them.
Your Mom's tree is awesome. Easy to see where you get your eye for decorating.....

Zach looks so cute on his tractor! My kiddo's birthday is in the middle of December, so his first Christmas was reeeeeeeally calm. His second one, however, was all about him. He had the most fun and got a little riding truck like Zach's tractor. It had a button that played music when you pushed it, and he would bounce up and down when the music played. That picture of Zach reminded me of that! Sweet, sweet memories! : )

You must have been one good girl this year...glad you got what you wanted!
I had just gotten a new camera too...my Best Buy offered a free class on how to use it...you didn't even have to have bought your camera from them...they are just trying to get business so they let anyone come. You should check yours out to see if they have the class.
Zach looks so cute on that tractor and in his leather chair...love it. I hope we are still blogging together when you have your first baby because you are going to be crazy in love and fun to watch.

Have fun tonight! My kids are so excited to stay up until midnight and they are only 6 & 8 but I guess they can....they can wake me up when the clock strikes 12. I bet there is football on so they will all be up and happy.

I saw the picture of you in your wedding dress. Shannon you were a B-E-A-U-T-F-U-L bride!! The dress looked perfect on you.
I love to read and I know there is such a fuss over Twilight but I just can not get myself to read a book about vampires. I just don't "get it". Have a great week.

Looks like you had a great Christmas- what a fun family time!
Yay! Congrats on the new camera- that's awesome.

I love the paint color at your folks house. Do you happen to know the color name? ( In the first pic with their tree) It is pretty.

Your wedding picture is so pretty- - your hair color looks darker there- maybe it is just the picture.

That is so cute how Zach was stealing your candy- I bet he had a blast on Christmas- what a cute baby he is.

I have been hearing about these books- I hear they are addicting~ I love it when I am reading a book that I just cannot put down!
Enjoy!

Have a Happy New Year!
