Christmas Kitchen

WARNING: Picture Overload!!

This will probably be my only post for this week because we will be going out of town for Thanksgiving for most of the week. Before we leave though, I wanted to leave you with a few (OK, a lot!) of Christmas pictures of our kitchen. I finished decorating this past weekend, which was my goal, so now I can enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday. When you walk in our kitchen, be sure to stop under the mistletoe:

Over the fridge is a pie plate I got at a craft fair last year with a Cmas arrangement.
Looking into the laundry room I replaced my "Blessings" sign with a Cmas one. I change this out for several holidays.
Flakes Welcome!
Over the oven I just propped up a Cmas sign. I love the towel from Village Monograms. She makes the prettiest things!
I get very mixed reviews on this wooden girl. I love her but a lot of people say she is rather scary with her white face.
Here is where we keep the Cmas cards that we get each year. I love looking back through the old ones that had pictures.

I got this jar at an after Cmas sale last year for $9.00 I think. It was filled with ornaments. They were not my color scheme so I filled it with fake snow and printed off some pictures from Prim N Simple and Graphics Fairy to stick in there.
Sorry this picture is a little blurry. I hung some ornaments from our kitchen chandelier.
I think I found this large wooden Santa at TJMaxx the first year we were married. I couldn't pass it up and it has always stood on top of our kitchen china cabinet at Cmas time.
I hope you enjoyed our kitchen all decked out for Christmas! Decorating for Christmas is one of my favorite things to do.
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving! I will be in and out with limited access to the Internet but I will be visiting your blogs when I can. Happy Thanksgiving!

I'd love to find some mistletoe, but I think some pine needles all wrapped up will have to do.

And I'm totally going to hang something from the light over our table, too!

There's no such thing as picture overload! I love each and every one of your decorations. That girl is wonderful! She looks so primitive - I just adore that - she looks like an heirloom.
I have to mention that I'm adoring that color you have on the walls too. Especially noticeable in the photo with the Merry Christmas banner.

I hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving.

I have been decorating all week and I hope to start taking some photos very very soon.

I am becoming slightly obsessed with your glass dome on the pedastal. I first noticed it with your Halloween decorations, and the snowman is darling under the dome. Very creative how you change the dome out with your seasonal decor. Cannot wait to find a great dome for my home.
