Blogging Is So Fun

I just love blogging for so many reasons. Mainly because you can meet such nice people. A couple of weeks ago I won a wallet from Jules from The Roost. After I sent her my address we realized we lived in the same town! I got the opportunity to meet her on Thursday night when I went to a Christmas Open House. It was so fun! We hope to get together for lunch soon with some other girls from our area.
Bev from Village Monograms was SOOOO sweet to send me a monogrammed tea towel! Look at her beautiful work! I was so excited to see this in the mail. I cannot wait to put it out at Christmas. She also sent a different one that I ordered but I can't show it because it is a Christmas gift for someone who might read my blog. You must go check out her etsy shop because she has the cutest things and at very reasonable prices. Perfect for Christmas gifts!
And last but not least, look at what my Dad bought me yesterday!! I could not be happier! It is an all in one printer, fax machine, scanner and copy machine. This is so exciting to me because I have been without a printer for almost 3 years! I have been saving things to print for years. I cannot wait to start playing around with this. Thanks Dad!!

It's so fun to meet online friends! I've met several over the years, and we still get together whenever we can. I'm glad you had the opportunity!

Cute towel! And yay on the printer! We have an all-in-one and love it.

BTW, I sent you and email with my email addy, not sure if you got it (you'd left me a comment the other day asking for it).

And I might be following in your footstep with the *gulp* going to my natural hair color. I think I'll be ok for now, because the girl that does my color does it for cheap. But if the job thing takes a while, I don't want to spend the $$. Problem is, I have no idea what my natural color really is. LOL And I'm too afraid to experiment. We'll see what happens.

Yeah on the printer - I always send things to my husband to print out at work, and it's kind of a pain.

I'll have to check out her website. I can't imagine going without a printer for 3 years. I went without one for 6 months and I was going through withdrawls. Love your blog, it's definitely something you were meant to do.

It's me again...now that you have a printer you should check out this blog for free clipart. There are a TON of styles, but a few birds etc. Look for the egg ledger. I'm sure you could create something with it. take care!

Shannon, thank you so much for your sweet comments about Village Monograms. (You too, Betsy) I loved working with you!

In order to be ready for Christmas sewing, I'm cleaning out my studio before Thanksgiving. So I'm having a sale. If anyone is interested, please convo me on Etsy.

Gosh, I hope that didn't sound too much like a late-night ginsu knife commercial. But wait! If you order before midnight, I'll throw in...

Thank you again!
Bev

How neat that you met someone in person through blogging!

About the Sperry's, I just wear them with jeans. They are so comfortable (especially once they are broken in). I wear them with casual shirts..like oxford polo's or sweaters with a polo under it..things like that. I'm sure they will be very cute on you!

Oh, WOW--that printer! I have envy b/c mine is not hooked up right now. I've learned to trace templates right from the computer screen. Lol. And send files to dh's office for printing if I just can't live without them. It's a pain.

Oh, and you ladies look just gorgeous at the open house!

I love the fact that your mom bought a plate....and dad bought something electronic!! My husband on our first ever wedding anniversary bought me a lamp, because at some point in the first year of our marriage I mentioned, "Hey, we really need a lamp in here." Not something sweet, pretty or sentimental...nope, something with wiring!
