Pumpkin Carving

Our Sunday School had our annual Pumpkin Carving Contest this past weekend. The husbands do come and participate but we always just get a group shot of the girls.
I thought we all did really good this year with the pumpkins! I think you can tell it is our third year to carve. At least we can tell that we have improved. Cody wasn't able to come this year so I helped a tiny bit on the cat pumpkin.

(ghost, skull, cat, egg head, football helmet)

I have gotten some really cute pumpkins submitted for the Pumpkin Carving Contest. So be sure to go here and learn about the contest so you can email me your pumpkin. We will be voting for our favorites on Wednesday, November 3rd and the winner will be getting a great prize from Oops and could involve this:

What cute pumpkins! I would love to win that precious clock, but do not even know where to begin on the pumpkin carving. I guess I just need to take a road trip to Fayetteville and visit Oops myself!

I love seeing photos of you with the girls at church...I so miss this. We went to a church that had a sunday school class before Church my whole life growing up... Then we moved to Seattle 4 years ago and I really miss my old Church family. The church we go to here is REALLY big but the preaching is good-Hard to get to know anyone!
You are very blessed Shannon!
Love the pumpkins!

Hi Shannon! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!! I had a few people emailing me awhile ago that my blog had disappeared and I for the life of me couldn't figure out why. I was frantic searching Blogger Help forums for answers bc some people could see my blog, others couldn't. Turns out, I never added my blog addy to my profile! Sheesh!! Anyways, thanks for continuing to try to stop on over.

I saw this the other day and so thought of you. Maybe this blogger even visits your site-who knows! But she makes these prints and is going to be doing a line for Hallmark. She adds inspirational and Christian messages to home decor. Here's the link to the one that reminds me of you! http://jeannewinters.blogspot.com/2008/09/announcing.html (The Bless Our Nest one!)
