Laundry Continued

Tired of my laundry room yet? Probably. This is the last post, I promise! (Well, for now at least.) After I finished my laundry room, I thought the upper cabinet needed something. My grandmother gave me this cute bird cage so I added a few other things I had. The bird cage is really heavy (I'm thinking ceramic?) and she says it is really old. This sat on a ledge by the stairs in her house and I remember playing with it when I was little. I loved to open and close the little door. I finally feel that the room is finished now.

How cute is your laundry room! I have been seeing so many cute laundry room re-dos. Maybe if I make mine a little cuter I might enjoy laundry a little more. Hmmmm. Thank you for inspiring me!

My husband was even inspired by your laundry room and others in blog land. We are redoing ours today. Thanks for the inspiration.

It's so cool to have things from growing up that you have memories of. I too have a space above the cabinets and it's going to take me a while before I figure out what to do with it. I love all that you do. Take care.

Your laundry room turned out so cute. I redid mine not long ago and put a chandelier in there I got a Lowe’s for $15.00.

If thats true, then they will fit right in together. We are TRYING to teach Dillon to be gentle and that he can only throw his balls, but it's easier said then done. :)

Love the birdcage...the whole room looks great. I have front loading machines and I am thinking about skirting the fronts of them to add some color and hide them a little. Mine seem to always be in use so I don't know if it is a practical idea but I think pretty trumps practical!

It must make you so happy to look at such a nice family heirloom while you do laundry. (:

I'm envious of your cute and organized laundry room! On the other hand, I don't have to worry too much about what mine looks like since it's just in a closet. All I do is shut the doors. I guess there's always a silver lining!
