Copy Cat

I have seen this family magnet frame all over blogland but I have no clue where it originated from. Everyone has said they got the magnet at Joann's or Michaels and we do not have either so Ally was so sweet to mail me one. I had this old picture frame laying around and just added some toile scrapbook paper to the back and I was finished. Thanks for all the inspiration from everyone! And thanks Ally !
UPDATE: This idea originated with Cherry.

It looks pretty no matter where you got the idea from.

Oh, so CUTE! Don't we all "borrow" from here and there to make this and that.

I love it! I have been looking for toile scrapbook paper and can't find it anywhere - where did you get it?

I've been wanting to do that too, and I can't remember where I saw it first either.

I never thought to do that. We have a Michaels right by us that is clearancing those magnets for 99 cents each. I'll have to go there today to see if they have anymore. I may be clearing out their stock :-) Take Care

You don't have Michaels OR JoAnns? Bless your craft storeless heart! You have to at least have Hobby Lobby right?

The final project is super cute!

I hate it when you really want something and can't get it.
So when you saw mine and said you wanted to do that also but didn't have a store that had them. I thought I'll get it for you, it was no big deal.
It turned out so pretty.

WAY cute! How nice that someone sent you one because you couldn't find one. I love to hear stories like that. I do really adore this project and it's definitely easy enough to duplicate. I'm going to have to look for this ( I have both of those stores) and perhaps make some for Christmas gifts.

I'm having a little give away at my blog - pop on by if you're interested.

I love it! So glad you found one. I looked at Michael's last week and they were gone! They had a few on clearance but no word that I wanted. :o)

I have one of these magnets too- mine says 'blessings'. I love it- but I wouldn't have thought to make a fantastic picture out of it. Mine is just a boring magnet.
Which is one of the many reasons I love blogland- so much inspiration- and your blog has an abundance!
You have me thinking about my plain ole' laundry room-I am thinking- "why shouldn't it be pretty since I spend SO much time in there?! "
Thanks for sharing your great ideas ! Keep them coming!

God bless!

That is so cute! I'm beginning to collect ideas for when we decorate the baby's room--this one is to keep!

PS. I remember now you posting about your shower curtain. Good to know it has gotten compliments!

Hi Shannon...that was my project from here...http://cherrysjubileehome.blogspot.com/2008/08/painting-puttering-and-little-project.html would you mind posting it...I have had several people lately copying ideas and not giving credit....I don't mind as long as there is a link....I always try to give credit if I am inspired by something. I understand it is hard sometimes to remember where something came from...thanks and I appreciate it. Yours is lovely! Cherry

What a great idea! I am going to have to be a "copy cat" as well and try that!

Great Job! I just bought one of these magnets at Micheals for 49cents. Mine says "Bloom". I haven't put it in a frame yet.

I ran across your blog and I love it. I hope you don't mind that I added you to my blog list. I am not creative at all, but your creativity has inspired me to do a few things around my house. All of your stuff is very, very cute!

Love it Shannon! I have seen a few also and thought it would look so pretty in my home also. Just haven't seen the magnet anywhere but I will keep looking.

Isn't great for blog freinds to do the nicest things such as mail little what nots that you can't find where you live. True friendships can be made in blogland! I actually looked for crows and never found any but one of my blogfriends did the same. Just shows there are great people out here.
