Fall Living Room

I was able to get my camera back and take some better pics of the Living Room. Before they were too dark and some are still a little dark but you can get the idea. I tried to keep it kind of simple in here and on the mantel.

I usually change out this dough bowl for the seasons.
Side table
I love this old Revival Praises hymnal. It has stalks of wheat on the front so it looks fall-ish.

On the sofa table I just framed a pumpkin from scrapbook paper.
Tomorrow I will try to show you the dining room and office and that will wrap up the tour. I didn't do too much in there though. I have been getting so many ideas from all of you to try next year. It has already made me excited for all the Christmas pics that are sure to come!
PS Head over to Jennifer's blog to enter a great giveaway! And it involves food!

Hey Shannon, everything looks so pretty. I think I'll have to frame some pumpkin scrapbook paper, thanks for that idea.

This is the first year I have done any decorating for fall, so I don't have much, but I'm looking forward to continuing to build it up year after year.

Hey Shannon!
Everything looks great! I am bummed b/c I am not decorating for the fall this year b/c we are redoing the house. Next year I plan on decking the house out!! I plan on hitting the sales after fall.
Where did you put the old print that used to be above the mantle? That was my favorite!! I also love and want a dough bowl. I found one once for $50 but I couldn't bring myself to pay that.
Happy Fall!
Suzanne

Shannon said...

Suzanne, please start a blog! :) You are so funny.

That stinks about not being able to decorate but when you pull everything out next year it will be like Cmas because you will forget what you bought! :)

I moved the picture from over our mantel because once we got our new entertainment center it was just way to small and threw the room off balance. It was my favorite too but it is in the dining room now. :) You are so sweet to notice!

I came across your blog and I wanted to say Hi. I just started blogging and I'll be taking pointers from yours. But one question... How the heck did you get so many people looking and responding to yours??? I'm amazed at your decorating and only wish I had the budget for it. We live in San Diego and just moved, so we're adjusting to a new mortgage and trying to fill a home that is more than twice the size as our last. If you have any tips I'd love to hear them. Thanks!!!
