Crystals

Remember these? What did you think I was going to do with them? I bet most of you thought I would use them on a chandelier.
You would be right! I tied them with fishing line to the arms of my chandelier. It is really hard to take a picture of a light fixture especially when there is a window by it. So sorry if these are blurry.
I realized I was one short so I guess I will just have to go back to Oops. Oh well. And I will be going to Oops because I saw them at my favorite real store for $4 each! These were only one dollar each. I bet I know where she got them...
Sorry if you were expecting some great big huge project. This was about as easy as it comes. The fishing line I used actually turned out to be brown so it was even better (who knew there were a million varieties of fishing line!). You cannot see it at all in real life. I even got a, "Looks good, Babe." from Cody. When I first told him what I was going to do he was a real skeptic. I was kind of a skeptic at first (when I was visualizing it in the store) so I can't blame him!
Go with your instincts!

It looks great! Good idea.
You sure found a lot of good bargains recently. I love the soup tureen and the price even better.

Hey Shannon,

It's so pretty with the crystals. Does the light in the windows cause them to sparkle rainbows all over?

Just a little bit of sparkle and what a difference. How cute!

That looks great! Too funny that you "caught" someone selling Oops stuff at a hefty mark-up! Love the tureen you bought there too.

I suppose I need to face reality and admit that fall is on the way. I need to get out there and buy some more decorations.

looks awesome. I don't have a chadelier in my house. Not that I don't want one. In the room that it would look great in, there is no overhead lighting. I will just have to live vicariously through you!

I thought that might be what you were up too! Looks lovely...do they leave little shimmers on your wall? I always loved the Disney movie Pollyanna and they used those to create little mini rainbows on the walls. Your whole dining room is beautiful. cherry

Yes indeed! They add such a nice touch to your light. I bet it's really pretty when the sun hits it. And to think you color matched the fishing string, hehe... I thought they only came in clear. Guess guys like to fish in style too.....Im so sorry you have to go all the way back to that ole' store. Guess you might have to just find something way too cute and bring it home just to make all of us ohhh and ahh over it. It's ok... I will get there one day, smile! Have fun shopping and think of us out of town girls dreaming about it. Take care!
