Loot!

While the paint is still drying on my mantel I thought I would show you the loot I got Saturday. I love the little glass cloche. I still have to find somewhere to put it and something to put it in. Both picture frames came from Oops. The one with ribbon was three dollars and the black one was six. The lavender is from Hobby Lobby.

I love it when Oops puts their fall and Christmas decorations out. They have just started but I still got some great things. I got three arrangements. I'll hang the long one on my door with a pretty ribbon and then mix the other two in with my other decorations. Seeing all the fall colors really got me excited for fall. When do you decorate for fall? I usually try to wait until mid September. I can't wait for all your house tours during fall and Christmas. I know I will be stealing a lot of ideas!

Oops seems like the greatest place ever! You got some great stuff! Love fall too. I can never decide which season is my favorite, but I definitely have more fall and Christmas stuff. It makes me feel bad for Easter, spring, and The Fourth of July. I'm working on getting more for those seasons. But when fall stuff comes out, I have to buy!

Love your loot! Fall/Halloween is by far my fav. I have a 4ft. black tree I decorate and some smaller ones too. Funny I had just mentioned fall stuff to one of my friends earlier today. Today I posted about making my monogram and linked to your post about framing...hope it's okay.

Good heavens...I love it all! The next time my husband asks me where I want to go on vacation...I'm saying Oops! Grrr! I love that dish, especially!

Summer is probably my FAVORITE season...even though I LOVE all the seasons. Still, there is nothing in the world like that time of year when things seem to slow down, the leaves change, and you know the holidays will soon be here! Late September is when my fall stuff usually comes out, because I am usually trying to hold onto some last shred of summer!

Can I come for a vacation to your town and will you please, please, please take me to Oops?!? I'd probably have to sell my car just to pay for what I'd buy, so maybe that's not such a great idea. Having that shopping experience through you will have to do. Great buys!

Is it time for fall already? Actually I was in Hobby Lobby last week and they were getting their Christmas ornaments out! As soon as the first cold day comes I'm ready to decorate. Although that means that I have to put my flip flops away for another year.

I'm with you. I was just thinking, "Why am I getting excited about fall and Christmas already?". I realized it was probably because I get to see what everyone does with their decorations! Great finds!

We don't have an Oops here and maybe that's a good thing. You got some terrific stuff.

I can smell a spice cake in the oven or is it a pumpkin scented candle? My decorating for fall will begin as soon as Labor Day is over.

Hey Shannon!
Love all your finds! I can't wait to see your mantle. I am sure everything will look just great. I can't wait for fall too. I got some new Yankee tarts for the fall yesterday and they smell yummy!
Have you ever checked out Bayberry Cove? That is their web address and they have some really cute vintage decorations. I love the Lori Mitchell collection. I think I am going to order some of her cute Halloween figures. If you check them out let me know what you think!

I just love the first glimpse of fall.
You found such great deals. It may be worth the gas money for me to drive down to Oops.

Oh I love fall. I can't wait to decorate my porch for Halloween. I'm with Susie, I love the pumkin candles too. We really need to get a Oops here in Utah, it's just not fair. We do have a fun place called Tai Pan, but I don't think the prices are as good.

You found some great stuff. I love to decorate for fall too. It's probably my favorite season to decorate for. Love the harvest scenes, and punkins' all around. I love going to fall festivals too. We have a huge one in KY, full of antiques crafts, and great food...so fun!

I usually do my decorating in mid to late September. I would wait 'til mid October, but little man's b-day is on Oct. 4th, so I like to have the house & yard all decorated for his party.

Can't wait to see what you do with the decorations!

I can't believe it is time to think about fall! I especially love the colors of fall and being able to use my favorite smelling candles. I wish fall could stay around a little longer because I don't look forward to the cold days of winter! Have fun with your decorating... I can't wait to see what you come up with!
