Thanks Walmart!!

One of the perks to living in Walmart country (home of Walmart) is the shareholder's meetings. Once a year our area gets a little crowded but the free concerts are worth it. You can click on these pictures to get a better view.

Last night was the Carrie Underwood/Keith Urban concert and it was free!
For some reason David Cook was there. It is hard to tell in the picture but he is the one with the hat on and pointing. My friend saw him out that night and he said he was in town for "the shareholder's meeting".
It was beautiful weather and it is always fun to go to Razorback stadium.

Here is Keith Urban. He was way more of a performer and was walking in the crowds and everything and even signed some one's cowboy hat while he was singing.
I went mostly for Carrie but he was really entertaining. It was apparent (by all the screaming) that he is what most people came for.
It was a fun date night and you can't get much better than free!

Your so lucky. I love all those performers. I have been a huge fan of country music since about 12years old. I'm the only one in my family who gets it.

That is so cool!! The best part is that it was free..
And the birds...yes, my petunias are hanging. I have 6 baskets hanging along my front porch and fortunately they only chose one to nest in.

Thanks for the blog and pix! I was there too- and carrie was actually very good too. I think alot of people- including me- came for carrie...though I like keith too. He is a better performer- but he has 15 years experience and age on carrie- give her time, and she will be that good someday.
I think she has improved immensely since american idol- her stage presence was great- and her vocals were incredible- despite the bad sound mix at the stadium. I think her disadvantage -- was that she was forced to come on during the daytime- so you couldn't see her lights and effects, etc- and it is never as exciting when artists perfom in the daytime. The night time makes it exciting. But everyone around me loved carrie too-- I wouldn't sell her short. She was very much a great part of the event..and a big draw for fans. She rocked! so did keith!

I love the South! Your walmart throws free concerts? Never happened in Jersey, ever! Bummer. And I am sure if it happened it would not be country... right now I am really loving Sugarland, I am the only one in my office who knows them!
